Francisco Hurtado Izquierdo y Fernández (born February 10, 1669 – died June 30, 1725) was a famous Spanish architect. He lived during the Baroque period, which was a time when buildings were very fancy and decorated. He is best known for designing the amazing sacristy (a special room in a church) at the Granada Charterhouse in Spain.
Francisco Hurtado Izquierdo was born and grew up in a town called Priego de Córdoba. When he was young, he was part of the Spanish royal army. He might have even traveled to Sicily, which was a Spanish territory back then.

One of his most important designs was the sacristy at the Granada Charterhouse. He was very proud of this work. He even called it a "precious jewel" and said there was nothing else like it in all of Europe! He also designed a very fancy room called a camarín at the El Paular Charterhouse in Segovia.
