Frankfort is a small place in Spencer Township, which is located in Lucas County, Ohio, in the U.S. state of the U.S.. It is known as an unincorporated community. History
Frankfort has had a couple of different names over the years. It was once called Java and also Frankfort Corners.
A post office was set up in Frankfort in 1848, back when it was known as Java. This post office was a place where people could send and receive their mail. It stayed open and served the community for many years, finally closing down in 1901.
