Freda' is a pop group from Gnosjö in Sweden. Their name means "Friday" in Swedish. They chose this name because they won a rock band competition on a Friday!
The band was active from 1983 to 1993. Later, they got back together for a short time from 2009 to 2010. The main singer and songwriter for Freda' is Uno Svenningsson. He also had a successful solo career.
Freda' became very popular in 1986 with their hit song "Vindarna". They even won a special music award called a Grammis in 1988 and again in 1990.
