From 1916 to 1920, Freda studied art. She attended the Regent Street Polytechnic School of Art. There, she learned from famous artists like Harry Watson and Terrick Williams.

Freda Marston showed her paintings in many important places. She exhibited at the Royal Academy in London. She also showed her art with the Royal Society of British Artists. Another place she exhibited was the Fine Art Society.
Family Life and Commissions
Freda Marston married another painter, Reginald St Clair Marston. They lived for some time in a place called Robertsbridge in Surrey. Freda was asked to create special artwork for trains. She made "carriage prints" for the London, Midland and Scottish Railway. She also created art for British Railways.
