Frédéric Alexandre "Fred" Leclercq (born on June 23, 1978) is a talented French musician and music producer. He is famous for playing many instruments, like guitar, bass, keyboards, and even singing!
Fred is well-known as the former bassist for the British power metal band DragonForce. He has also been a part of many other bands. Currently, he plays guitar and writes songs for the death metal supergroup Sinsaenum. He is also the bassist for the German thrash metal band Kreator and the French death metal band Loudblast. Fred also plays bass and guitar in a band called Amahiru. He sometimes plays music for other bands too, as a session musician.

Joining DragonForce
In 2005, Fred joined the band DragonForce. He became their bassist during their "Sonic Firestorm" tour. He played with them for many years and helped create five albums. Fred later left DragonForce to explore other types of music. He wanted to create his own unique sound.
Playing with Kreator
On September 16, 2019, the German thrash metal band Kreator announced something exciting. Fred Leclercq joined them as their new bassist! He took over from Christian Giesler, who had been with the band for 25 years. This was a big step in Fred's career.
Starting Amahiru
In 2020, Fred Leclercq started a new music project called Amahiru. He created this band with a Japanese guitarist named Saki. Fred and Saki first met in 2015. Saki's band, Mary's Blood, opened for DragonForce in Hong Kong.
In Amahiru, Saki plays the lead guitar. Fred plays lead, rhythm, and bass guitar. Their first album, also called "Amahiru," came out on November 27, 2020. It featured other talented musicians. These included British singer Archie Wilson, Dutch keyboard player Coen Janssen, and American drummer Mike Heller. The album also had special guests like Elize Ryd and Sean Reinert.
