Fuentealta is a popular brand of bottled water that comes from the beautiful island of Tenerife. This island is part of the Canary Islands, which are located off the coast of Africa. The company that owns Fuentealta is called Grupo de las Islas Occidentales, a Spanish company.

The company that bottles Fuentealta water is named Aguas de Vilaflor, SA. (AVISA). It started in 1975. Their bottling plant is in a town called Vilaflor. This town is very special because it's the highest town in the Canary Islands, sitting about 1400 meters (that's almost a mile!) above sea level.

The natural springs where Fuentealta water comes from are called Fuente Alta, which means "high fountain." These springs are in a protected nature reserve. The water that fills these springs comes directly from the amazing Teide National Park. In 2007, UNESCO declared Teide National Park a World Heritage Site. This was thanks to the work of a Spanish volcanologist named Juan Carlos Carracedo.

What Makes Fuentealta Water Special?

Fuentealta water has a unique mix of natural minerals. These minerals come from the volcanic rocks of Teide National Park as the water filters through them. This special blend of minerals gives the water its distinct taste and properties. For example, it contains minerals like calcium, magnesium, and sodium, which are all naturally present in the water.
