Fuller Park is a community area located on the south side of Chicago, Illinois. It is one of the 77 official community areas that make up the city of Chicago. Fuller Park is known as Community Area 37.
What is Fuller Park Named After?
Fuller Park gets its name from a small park within the neighborhood. This park was named after Melville Weston Fuller. He was a lawyer from Chicago who became a very important judge. From 1888 to 1910, he served as the Chief Justice of the United States. This means he was the head judge of the highest court in the country.
