Funtown Splashtown USA is a super fun amusement park located in Saco, Maine, in the United States. It's a family-owned park, which means it's been run by the same family for a long time! People often just call it "Funtown." It's a great place to make amazing memories with your family and friends.

History of Funtown Splashtown
In 1960, a couple named Ken and Violet Cormier started a drive-in restaurant called Marvel Drive-In. Right next door, Ken's brother-in-law, Andre Dellaire, had already opened a mini-golf course. Soon, more fun things were added! In 1963, Andre opened a go-kart track. The next year, Ken added batting cages, and in 1967, an archery range. Over time, they added small rides and carnival games like SkySlides. They even opened a gift shop! In 1967, Ken and Andre teamed up officially, and that's when Funtown U.S.A. was born! They added more exciting rides like the Zipper and bumper cars. In 1996, Ken Cormier took over the whole park. He changed its name to Funtown Splashtown U.S.A. when he added the awesome waterpark section.

Roller Coasters and Thrill Rides
- Excalibur: This is Northern New England’s only wooden roller coaster. It's a classic wooden coaster that gives you a wild ride!
- Thunder Falls: Get ready to get wet on New England's longest and tallest log flume ride. You'll splash down from a great height!
- Dragon's Descent: This is a giant Drop Tower that is 220-foot-tall (67 m). It lifts you high into the sky, giving you a quick view of Maine, before dropping you super fast!
- Astrosphere: This is one of the park's most popular rides. It's an indoor Scrambler ride inside a dome. It has an amazing laser and light show set to the song "Fire on High" by ELO.
- Wild Mouse Roller Coaster: This is a steel roller coaster with sharp turns and quick drops. It feels like you're going to fall off the track, but don't worry, it's all part of the fun!
Splashtown Water Park Fun
The Splashtown part of the park is full of water fun!
- Pirate's Paradise: This is a huge water playground with lots of interactive features. Every few minutes, a giant bucket dumps hundreds of gallons of water on everyone below!
- Tornado: This thrill slide was added in 2007. It's the first and only Tornado slide in Northern New England.
- Mammoth: Also added in 2007, this is another exciting thrill slide.
- Mount Olympus Water Slides: In 2012, Splashtown got even bigger with six new thrill slides. These include:
- Poseidon's Plunge: An AquaDrop slide that sends you plummeting down.
- Triton's Twist: A unique FlatLine Loop slide.
- Amphitrite's Challenge: A fast Whizzard slide.
