Their Music and Albums
Futrel released their first album, Worth the Wait, in 1989. It was released through Light Records. This album was very popular and reached No. 19 on the Billboard Gospel charts.
Their second album was called Declarations. It was released on April 28, 1993. Famous music producers like Ben Tankard, Andrew Gouche, and Cedric Dent from the group Take 6 helped create this album. Declarations was released through Tankard's Tribute Records.
Awards and Recognition
Futrel's talent was recognized in the music world. In 1992, they were nominated for a Stellar Award. This award was for "Best New Artist." The Stellar Awards celebrate excellence in gospel music.
