Gabriella Louise Ortega Lopez (born on December 2, 1998), known as Gabbi Garcia, is a talented Filipino actress, singer, model, host, and vlogger. She is a star with GMA Network, Sparkle GMA Artist Center, and GMA Pictures. Gabbi first started acting in the TV series My Destiny in 2014. She became very well-known for her role as Alena in the 2016 fantasy series Encantadia.

Gabbi's Early Life
Gabriella Louise Ortega Lopez was born in Makati, Philippines. Her father, Vince Pena Lopez, works as a security manager. Her mother, Tes Lopez, is a flight attendant. Gabbi is the second child in her family. She grew up in her family's old home in Pasay. She finished high school at St. Paul College, Pasig.
When she was a teenager, Gabbi was active in school. She was part of the school choir and the dance team. She also joined the cheering squad. Before she auditioned for GMA Artist Center, she won several beauty pageants.
Gabbi's Career Journey
Gabbi Garcia started her career by appearing in commercials. She also joined singing competitions. In 2014, she made her first TV acting appearance. She was one of the young main stars in GMA Network's show My Destiny. For a few years, she was known as Gabrielle Garcia.
Working with Ruru Madrid
Later, Gabbi was paired with actor Ruru Madrid. They became a popular "loveteam," which means they often acted together as a romantic couple. They starred in many projects. These included the TV drama Let the Love Begin and the comedy show Naku, Boss Ko!. They also starred in the 2016 remake of the fantasy series Encantadia. In Encantadia, Gabbi played Sang'gre Alena. This role made her and her co-stars very famous.
Gabbi and Ruru continued to work together in the TV drama Sherlock Jr.. However, in 2018, Gabbi's character in the show sadly passed away. This marked the end of their onscreen loveteam.
New Roles and Projects
In the same year, Gabbi starred in a TV drama without Ruru Madrid. This show was Pamilya Roces, where she worked with Gloria Diaz and Carla Abellana. In 2019, she appeared in the revenge drama series Beautiful Justice. She starred alongside Bea Binene and Yasmien Kurdi.
Gabbi has shared that she prefers to work with different leading men. She does not want to be stuck with just one "love team" partner for a long time. In 2019, she starred in the movie LSS (Last Song Syndrome). Her real-life boyfriend, Khalil Ramos, was her leading man in this film. They have said they are not a "love team."
In 2023, Gabbi joined the cast of the romantic drama series Unbreak My Heart. She worked with Jodi Sta. Maria, Richard Yap, and Joshua Garcia.
Gabbi also hosted “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.” She was a house guest for four days. She shared that she had many laughs and heartfelt cries during her time there. Gabbi played Amelie in GMA's first Viu original series "Slay." She also starred in the Netflix original series "How to Cheat Death" with Khalil Ramos.
