Gabbi Garcia (born December 2, 1998) is a talented Filipino actress, singer, model, host, and vlogger. Her full name is Gabriella Louise Ortega Lopez. She is a star with GMA Network, Sparkle GMA Artist Center, and GMA Pictures. Gabbi first appeared on TV in the series My Destiny in 2014. She became very well-known for playing Alena in the fantasy show Encantadia in 2016.

Gabbi's Early Life

Gabriella Louise Ortega Lopez was born on December 2, 1998. Her hometown is Makati City, Philippines. Her dad, Vince Pena Lopez, works as a security manager. Her mom, Tes Lopez, is a flight attendant. Gabbi is the second child in her family. She grew up in her family's old home in Pasay City. She finished high school at St. Paul College Pasig.

When she was a teenager, Gabbi was very active. She sang in the school choir. She was also part of the dance group and the cheering squad. Before she auditioned for GMA Artist Center, she even won some beauty pageants.

Gabbi's Journey to Stardom

Gabbi Garcia started her career by working in commercials. She also joined singing contests. In 2014, she made her first TV appearance. She was one of the young main stars in the GMA Network show My Destiny. For a few years, people knew her as Gabrielle Garcia.

She later became a popular "loveteam" with actor Ruru Madrid. A loveteam means two actors are often paired together in romantic roles. They starred in many projects together. These included the TV drama Let the Love Begin. They also appeared in the comedy show Naku, Boss Ko!.

Their biggest project together was the 2016 remake of the fantasy series Encantadia. In Encantadia, Gabbi played the important role of Sang'gre Alena. This role made her and her co-stars very famous.

The loveteam continued in another TV drama called Sherlock Jr.. But in 2018, Gabbi's character sadly left the show. This marked the end of her loveteam with Ruru Madrid.

In the same year, Gabbi starred in a TV drama without her former loveteam partner. This show was Pamilya Roces. She worked with famous actresses like Gloria Diaz and Carla Abellana. In 2019, she starred in the drama series Beautiful Justice. She worked alongside Bea Binene and Yasmien Kurdi in this show.

Gabbi has said that she likes working with different leading men. She prefers this instead of always being in one long-term loveteam. In her movie LSS (Last Song Syndrome), her real-life boyfriend Khalil Ramos was her leading man. They have chosen not to call themselves a loveteam.
