Gabriel Eduardo Coronel Petrilli (born on February 13, 1987) is a talented actor and singer from Venezuela. He became well-known for his roles in TV shows called telenovelas.
Gabriel started his career by acting in plays. In 2007, he joined the cast of a popular show called Somos tú y yo. He played a character named Gabriel "El Gago". After this, he moved to the United States. There, he starred in the telenovela Relaciones Peligrosas as Mauricio Blanco. For this role, he was nominated for awards like the Premios Tu Mundo and Premios People en Español in 2012.

Starting Out in Acting and Music
Gabriel Coronel studied music and acting in Venezuela. He first learned at the Conservatory of Music of Lara. Before acting, he also worked in modeling. He then got roles in Venezuelan telenovelas. These included Somos tú y yo and its follow-up, Somos tú y yo: un nuevo día. Both shows were on the Venevisión channel. During this time, Gabriel also performed in several theater plays.
In 2012, Gabriel started working on international TV. He joined the U.S. network Telemundo. His first big international role was in the telenovela Relaciones Peligrosas. He played Mauricio Blanco, a young man who falls for his teacher.
Becoming a Star and Releasing Music
Gabriel was then chosen for another show called Marido En Alquiler. This was an American version of a Brazilian show. He played Antonio Salinas. Antonio was the son of Griselda Carrasco, played by Sonya Smith. His character was the only one in his family to go to college. But he felt a bit ashamed because his family was poor. His mother worked as a handyman.
In this show, Gabriel worked with actors like Juan Soler and Maritza Rodríguez. He also acted alongside Kimberly Dos Ramos. She played Patricia Ibarra, Antonio's girlfriend. Gabriel and Kimberly played the main young characters in the story.
In late 2012, Gabriel made a big step in his music career. He was the first artist to sign a deal between Telemundo and Warner Music Latina. His first song, "Desnudo," came out digitally on July 23, 2013. The music video for "Desnudo" was filmed in Miami, Florida. It was released on August 13. Gabriel performed the song live for the first time at the Premios Tu Mundo awards show. This event was held by Telemundo on August 15, 2013.
