Gabriel Rossi's Stand-up Comedy Shows
Gabriel Rossi started his journey as a stand-up comedian in 1996. He performed in many pubs around Melbourne, which can be a tough place to start!
In 1998, he was a finalist in a big comedy competition called Triple J Raw Comedy in Victoria.
He first performed at the famous Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2000 with a show called "Melbourne: the Musical." He returned in 2004 with "Reservoir Wogs," which got a great review from the Herald Sun newspaper. In 2006, his show "Gift of the Gab" was praised for being smart and fresh by The Age newspaper.
After his 2000 festival show, Rossi went on tour. He performed in Perth, Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, and country Victoria with another Italian Australian comedian, Joe Avati.
In 2005, Gabriel Rossi was part of a tour called "Show Us Your Roots." His performance was even included on the DVD released from that show.
Besides touring, Rossi also performs for special company events and at various clubs and hotels in Melbourne.

Since 1999, Gabriel Rossi has appeared on both radio and television.
In 1999, he briefly performed funny song parodies on a breakfast radio show called TTFM on Mix 101.1.
On television, he performed stand-up comedy on shows like Champagne Comedy and The Comic Box on Channel 31. He even hosted some of these shows!
He also hosted a series called The Lygon Factor in 2006, which was about the Italian Australian community in Melbourne. This show, also on Channel 31, included Rossi's own comedy.
Gabriel Rossi has released his own DVD called Reservoir Wogs: Live on Stage. It's based on his "Reservoir Wogs" comedy show and includes parts of The Lygon Factor TV program.
Gabriel Rossi's Political Interests
Gabriel Rossi once planned to become a candidate for a group called the Victorians Party. He wanted to run in the 2022 state election. However, the party broke up before the election happened.
