Gadget's Go Coaster is a fun junior roller coaster! You can find it at two amazing places: Disneyland in Anaheim, California, and Tokyo Disneyland in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan. This ride is inspired by Gadget Hackwrench, a super smart character from the old Disney animated show Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers.
Both versions of the coaster are located in a special area called Mickey's Toontown. The Disneyland version opened on January 24, 1993. The Tokyo Disneyland version opened a bit later, on April 15, 1996. Even though the cartoon show ended before the ride opened, Gadget's Go Coaster was the last Disneyland ride based on a "Disney Afternoon" TV series. It's also the shortest ride at Disneyland, lasting only 44 seconds!

Riding Gadget's Go Coaster
Disneyland Ride Experience
When you get to the front of the ride, you'll see a cool sign. The cars on this coaster are quite small, perfect for kids! Two children can easily fit in one car. Most adults might need to ride alone or with a very small child. You'll hop into a train that looks like a homemade airplane.
Once you're buckled in, you'll hear a safety message from Gadget herself! Then, your adventure begins. You'll zoom through giant items that Gadget has "salvaged," like an old comb, a soup can, and a thread spool. You'll also glide over Toon Lake. Near the end of the ride, as you take the fastest turn, cartoon frogs squirt water just above your head! After that, the coaster slows down and pulls back into the station. You'll then be back in Toontown, ready for more fun.
Tokyo Disneyland Ride Experience
At Tokyo Disneyland, the entrance sign for Gadget's coaster is also made from random items. Above the loading area, there's a picture of Gadget on a postage stamp. Just like in Disneyland, the cars are small and great for kids. Adults might find them a bit snug! Here, the trains look like they're made from acorns and other found parts.
