Gadzhi Muslimovich Gadzhiyev (Russian: Гаджи Муслимович Гаджиев) is a well-known Russian football manager. He was born on October 28, 1945. Currently, he serves as the president of FC Dynamo Makhachkala. Gadzhiyev has had a long and successful career in football, both as a player and, more famously, as a coach and manager for many different teams.

Gadzhiyev's Coaching Journey

Gadzhi Gadzhiyev has been involved in football for many years. He started his coaching career in the early 1970s. He has worked with many different teams, helping them to play their best.

Early Coaching Roles

Gadzhiyev began his coaching journey with FC Dynamo Makhachkala. He later became an assistant coach for the Soviet Union's Olympic football team. This team achieved a great victory, winning the gold medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. This was a very important moment in his career.

He also served as an assistant coach for the main Soviet Union national football team from 1990 to 1992. After the Soviet Union, he continued to work with the Russian Under-21 team and the Russian national team as an assistant.
