About Gary Clement
Gary Clement has been the daily political cartoonist for Canada's National Post newspaper in Toronto since it began in 1998. His illustrations have also appeared in many famous magazines and newspapers. These include The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and Time magazine. His work has often been chosen for American Illustration, which highlights top illustrators.

Gary Clement is very famous for his children's books. His second picture book for kids, The Great Poochini, won a special award in 1999. This was the Governor General's Award for Children's Literature Illustration. This award celebrates the best illustrations in Canadian children's books.
