Cary Fagan is a Canadian author who writes many different kinds of books. He writes novels for adults, short stories, and lots of books for children! He has published over 25 children's books since 2001. His books have won many awards and have been recognized for their great stories. For example, his novel The Student was a finalist for the Toronto Book Award and the Governor General's Literary Award. Another book, A Bird's Eye, was also nominated for a big award called the Rogers Writers' Trust Fiction Prize.

About Cary Fagan

Cary Fagan was born in 1957 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He grew up in the Toronto suburbs and went to the University of Toronto. He studied English there and won eight student awards! He has also lived for short times in London and New York City. Today, he lives in Toronto with his wife, Rebecca Comay. He has two daughters, a step-son, and a step-daughter.

Cary Fagan has received many special awards for his writing. These include a Toronto Book Award, two Jewish Book Awards, and a Mr Christie silver medal.
