Dušan Petričić (Serbian Cyrillic: Душан Петричић; born 10 May 1946) is a Serbian illustrator and caricaturist. He is a super talented artist who draws amazing pictures for books and newspapers! He's famous for his fun illustrations in children's books. His clever cartoons make people think and smile.
His drawings have appeared in big newspapers like Politika, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and the Toronto Star. Dušan Petričić has won many cool awards for his art. One special award was the Levstik Award in Slovenia in 1989. He won it for his pictures in a book called Guliver med pritlikavci, which is a version of Gulliver in Lilliput.
In 2001, a book he illustrated, The Longitude Prize, also received an honor at the Robert F. Sibert Informational Book Awards. He also received an IBBY Certificate of Honour. For about 20 years, from 1993 to 2013, Dušan Petričić lived and worked in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
