Gasherbrum III facts for kids
Gasherbrum III is a 7,952 metres (26,089 ft) mountain in the Karakoram range, in China and Pakistan. It is also known as K3a. It is the 15th highest mountain in the world. The first people to reach the top were Wanda Rutkiewicz, Alison Chadwick-Onyszkiewicz, Janusz Onyszkiewicz and Krzysztof Zdzitowiecki, in 1975. As of 2018, only two expeditions had ever made it to the top.
