Gehenna is a valley located near the ancient city of Jerusalem. It is also known as the Valley of Hinnom or the Valley of the Son of Hinnom. This valley surrounds parts of the Old City of Jerusalem, including Mount Zion. It connects with the Kidron Valley near the southeastern part of the city and stretches towards the Mamilla neighborhood in the west. An old river, Gai Ben-Hinnom, flows through this valley.
