George William Handy Jr. (born December 5, 1924 – died October 20, 1993) was an American baseball player. He played as a second baseman in the Negro leagues during the 1940s.

Starting in the Negro Leagues
George Handy began his professional baseball career in 1947. He joined the Memphis Red Sox, a team in the Negro leagues. He played as a second baseman for them. He continued to play with the Memphis Red Sox in 1948.
Playing in Minor League Baseball
After his time in the Negro leagues, George Handy played in minor league baseball. This was in the 1950s. He played for several teams during this period. Some of these teams included the Fort Lauderdale Lions, the Norfolk Tars, and the Winston-Salem Twins.
George Handy passed away in Brentwood, New York, in 1993. He was 68 years old.
