He is famous for his work on Univision, where he hosted popular shows like Lente Loco, La Piñata Loca, and Giorgiomania. George has also appeared in movies and commercials. Since 2015, he has hosted an online sports show called Better Sports News on YouTube.

Starting in Television

George Ortuzar's TV career began in 1991. He joined Univision after people there noticed his talent. He appeared many times on the show Sabado Gigante. In 1993, he became the host of Lente Loco with Odalys Garcia.

Later, George starred in two children's shows: La Piñata Loca and Giorgiomania. He has also been in many commercials over the years. In 2008, George was a contestant on the game show The Moment of Truth. On February 14, 2015, he started hosting Better Sports News, a YouTube sports show, with sportscaster Jeff Chapman.

From 2001 until 2013, George Ortuzar was the spokesperson and marketing manager for the Hollywood Park Racetrack. After the racetrack closed, he started working as a jockey agent for the Los Alamitos Race Course in 2014. In 2015, George was hired by C.A.R.F. (California Association of Racing Fairs) to be a track announcer and help set the odds for races.

George's Personal Life

George Ortuzar has been with his girlfriend, Lily Marian, since 2001. He has three children from a previous marriage: Alex, Georgie, and Natalie. He also has two granddaughters, Sofia and Marilyn. George has two step-children whom he has raised with Lily Marian.

On the game show The Moment of Truth, George answered a difficult question honestly. He said he felt like a winner even if he didn't win any money. In the end, he won $100,000.
