Georgianna Lincoln was born in Fairbanks, Alaska. She grew up there and finished high school at Lathrop High School in 1960. After high school, she continued her education at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. She lived in both Fairbanks and the village of Rampart.
Career and Public Service
Georgianna Lincoln has always been very active in her community. She worked in the commercial fishing industry, which is a big part of Alaska's economy. She also served on the board of directors for Doyon, Limited. This company is a regional corporation created under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act. It works to manage land and resources for Alaska Native people.
From 1984 to 1990, Ms. Lincoln was a member of the Alaska Commission on Judicial Conduct. This group helps make sure that judges in Alaska act fairly and follow the rules.
Serving in the Alaska Legislature
