Gerald "Ger" FitzGerald (born 19 November 1970) is a music expert from Ireland. He has worked with many bands and record labels. He is known for helping musicians create and share their music.
Early Music Career
Ger FitzGerald started his music journey as a bass guitar player. He played in a band called Catchers. This band released music through a company called Setanta Records.
Working in Recording Studios
In 1999, Ger FitzGerald took on a new role. He became the general manager of a recording studio called Stratosphere sound. This studio was started by famous musicians. These included James Iha from the band Smashing Pumpkins, Adam Schlesinger from Fountains of Wayne, and Andy Chase from Ivy.
Managing a Record Label
While working at Stratosphere Sound, Ger FitzGerald also managed a special record label. It was called Scratchie Records. This label was owned by James Iha and Adam Schlesinger. Ger helped release music for different artists. Some of these artists were The Frogs and Dan Bryk.
Managing Bands
