History of Germania

Germania was started a long time ago, in the year 1883. It was a new settlement in Texas. For a few years, the town even had its own post office. This post office helped people send and receive letters and packages. It opened in 1884 and closed just a few years later, in 1887. After the post office closed, fewer and fewer people lived in Germania, until it became the ghost town it is today.
