Gianroberto Casaleggio (born August 14, 1954 – died April 12, 2016) was an Italian businessman and a person who worked to make political changes. He was born in Milan, Italy.
He helped start a company called Casaleggio Associati. This company focused on the internet and publishing, giving advice on how to use online networks. Casaleggio also managed the blog of a famous comedian, Beppe Grillo. Together, they created a political group called the Five Star Movement. Casaleggio was often seen as a very important guide for this movement. He believed the internet was a powerful tool for sharing political ideas in Italy.

About Gianroberto Casaleggio
Gianroberto Casaleggio started his career at a company called Olivetti. Later, in the late 1990s, he became the CEO of Webegg. This company offered advice on internet use.
Webegg faced some financial difficulties in the early 2000s. Because of this, Casaleggio was replaced as CEO in 2003.
Starting Casaleggio Associati
In 2004, Casaleggio started his own company, Casaleggio Associati. This company focused on internet consulting. They did research on how people buy and sell things online in Italy.
Every spring since 2006, Casaleggio Associati has shared their findings at a special meeting in Milan.
Working with Beppe Grillo
Casaleggio Associati began managing Beppe Grillo's blog in 2005. They also helped publish some of Grillo's books. Grillo is a well-known comedian.
Casaleggio Associati also managed the website for another politician, Antonio Di Pietro, until 2010. They also worked with a publisher called Chiarelettere until 2013.
His Passing
Gianroberto Casaleggio passed away on April 12, 2016. He was 61 years old and died in Milan after being sick for a while.
His Family
After Gianroberto Casaleggio passed away, his son Davide Casaleggio took over his role. Davide became the new president of Casaleggio Associati.
