Giulia Salemi (born on April 1, 1993, in Piacenza, Italy) is a well-known Italian television presenter and model. She has appeared in many TV shows and beauty contests throughout her career.
Early Life and Start in Entertainment
Giulia Salemi was born in Piacenza. Her father, Mario Salemi, was a policeman, and her mother, Fariba Tehrani, was a beautician. Her parents separated in 2009.
Giulia went to high school to study human sciences. She also started studying Economics at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Piacenza. However, she was very interested in the world of entertainment from a young age. She began her career as a model. After one year of university, she decided to focus on her television career.
Television Career Highlights
Giulia's first time on TV was in the summer of 2012. She took part in the fourth season of a TV show called Veline. The next year, she won the reality show Sweet Sardinia on La5.
On September 14, 2014, Giulia competed in the final of Miss Italia, which is a big beauty contest in Italy. She finished in third place. She also won two special awards: Miss Sport Lotto and Miss TV Sorrisi e Canzoni.
In February 2015, she joined Simona Ventura to host a football talent show called Leyton Orient on Agon Channel. In the same year, she competed with her mother, Fariba, in the fourth season of the reality show Pechino Express. They finished in third place.
Giulia has also been a host for other shows. In 2017, she hosted Ridiculousness Italia. She was also a contestant on Grande Fratello VIP 3 in 2018 and Grande Fratello VIP 5 from 2020 to 2021. Later, she became the "Social Sent" for Grande Fratello VIP 7 from 2022 to 2023. She has also hosted web talk shows like Salotto Salemi and GF VIP Party.
Personal Life
Giulia Salemi was in a relationship with model Francesco Monte. They met during the third season of the reality show Grande Fratello VIP. Their relationship ended in the summer of 2019.
Since December 2020, Giulia has been in a relationship with model Pierpaolo Pretelli. They met while both were contestants on the fifth season of Grande Fratello VIP.
