Goshi Okubo (大久保 剛志, Ōkubo Gōshi, born June 14, 1986) is a Japanese football player. He plays as a forward, which means his main job is to score goals for his team. Goshi Okubo has played for many different football clubs in both Japan and Thailand during his career.

Goshi Okubo's Football Journey
Goshi Okubo started his football journey in his home country, Japan. He joined the youth team of Vegalta Sendai in 2002. This was where he began to develop his skills as a player.
Early Career in Japan
After playing in the youth team, Goshi Okubo officially joined Vegalta Sendai's main team in 2005. He played for them until 2011. During this time, he also spent some years on loan at Sony Sendai FC. A loan means he played for Sony Sendai for a while but was still officially a Vegalta Sendai player. He played many games for Sony Sendai and scored quite a few goals.
In 2012, Goshi Okubo joined Sony Sendai FC permanently. He continued to play well there for two years. In 2013, he also had a short time playing for Montedio Yamagata.
Playing in Thailand
In 2014, Goshi Okubo moved to Thailand to play football. He joined Bangkok Glass F.C., which is a well-known club in Thailand. He played there for two seasons, from 2014 to 2015, and scored goals for his team.
After Bangkok Glass, he moved to PTT Rayong F.C. in 2016. He played there for three seasons until 2018. In 2018, he had another loan spell, this time back in Japan with Kyoto Sanga FC, but he didn't play any games for them during that time.
Later Career and Recent Clubs
Goshi Okubo returned to Thailand in 2019 and joined MOF Customs United F.C.. He continued to play for various Thai clubs in the following years. In 2020, he played for both Royal Thai Navy F.C. and Rayong F.C..
He then returned to Royal Thai Navy F.C. for the 2021-2022 season. From 2022 to 2024, Goshi Okubo played for Bangkok F.C.. He has had a long and active career, playing for many different teams and showing his skills as a forward.
