Grace Chan Hoi-lam (born June 23, 1991) is a Canadian actress and TV host from Hong Kong. She is also a beauty queen. Grace won the Miss Hong Kong title in 2013. The next year, she won Miss Chinese International 2014.

Grace Chan was born in Hong Kong. When she was five years old, her family moved to Vancouver, Canada. She has a twin brother and an older sister. Grace's grandmother was from Malaysia, so Grace has some Malay heritage. She studied Communications at Simon Fraser University. She also minored in Publishing.

Becoming Miss Hong Kong 2013

Grace Chan was crowned Miss Hong Kong on September 1, 2013. She had always dreamed of entering this pageant since she was a child. Grace was a favorite from the start. She won against nine other contestants. She received most of the 170,000 votes from the Hong Kong audience.

She also won other special awards. These included Tourism Ambassador and Most Popular among Media. Grace returned to Hong Kong for the pageant right after finishing university. She even missed her graduation ceremony in Vancouver.

Winning Miss Chinese International 2014

The rules for the Miss Chinese International competition changed in 2014. There were elimination rounds after almost every part of the show. Grace Chan represented Hong Kong in this pageant. She became the third person from Hong Kong to hold both titles. The last person to do this was Sonija Kwok, 14 years before Grace. Grace won the competition. She beat Cindy Zhong, who was also a strong favorite.

Grace Chan's Acting Roles

After winning Miss Hong Kong, Grace signed a contract with TVB. This is a big TV company. She started her acting career in 2014. Her first drama was called Overachievers. In 2015, Grace got her first main roles. These were in the dramas Raising the Bar and Captain of Destiny.

She won two important awards in 2015. She received the Best New TVB Artiste award. This was at the StarHub TVB Awards. She also won the Most Improved Female Artiste award. This was at the TVB Anniversary Awards. Grace has not filmed new TV dramas since her guest role in Justice Bao: The First Year.

On July 26, 2018, Grace Chan shared exciting news on Instagram. She announced her engagement to Kevin Cheng. He is a Hong Kong actor. They had been dating for three years. On August 12, 2018, they got married in Bali, Indonesia.

In February 2019, Grace announced the birth of their first son. She gave birth to their second son in July 2020. In November 2022, she shared that she was expecting her third baby. In January 2023, it was announced that their third son had been born.
