Granados is a small town in the northeast part of Sonora, a state in Mexico. It's the main town, or "municipal seat," for the Granados area. In 2000, about 1,228 people lived there. But by 2005, the population went down to 938. This happened because many people moved away. They left to find better schools and more job opportunities elsewhere. The area of Granados is about 361.27 square kilometers.
