Gregory Green, known professionally as Grant Green Jr., is a talented jazz guitarist. He is the oldest son of the legendary jazz guitarist Grant Green. Grant Green Jr. is also a member of a cool group called Masters of Groove. He plays alongside Bernard Purdie and Reuben Wilson in this band.

Grant Green Jr. was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on August 4, 1955. He started playing the guitar when he was fourteen years old. In 1969, he moved to Detroit with his father. His father passed away ten years later. Growing up, some of his neighbors were famous musicians. These included Stevie Wonder's parents, Marvin Gaye, and members of the Four Tops.
