Exploring the Tor
Most people who visit Great Links Tor climb to a special marker. This marker is called an OS Triangulation point. It is on a block of rock to the west of the main outcrop. These points help mapmakers create accurate maps.
Climbing the Main Rock
The very highest part of Great Links Tor is hard to reach. You need special climbing gear to get to the top. The easiest way up is through a crack on the eastern side. This is a challenging climb for experienced climbers.
History Around the Tor
Near Great Links Tor, you can find some interesting ruins. These include the remains of the Rattlebrook Peat Works. This was once a factory that processed peat. Peat is a type of soil made from decayed plants. It was used as fuel.
Bleak House
