What is Great Stage Park?

Great Stage Park covers a massive 650 acres (about 2.6 square kilometers). That's like more than 490 football fields! Most people call it "The Farm." It's mostly an open field, but it comes alive when festivals happen.

Home of Bonnaroo

Since 2002, Great Stage Park has been the home of the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. This is one of the biggest outdoor festivals in North America! Thousands of people come here every year to enjoy music, art, and camping.

What's There Permanently?

Even though it's a huge space, only a few things are always there. These include:

  • The "What Stage" (a main stage for performances)
  • A fountain
  • Permanent bathrooms
  • A barn
  • A few other small buildings

Everything else you see during a festival, like other stages, food stands, and tents, is built just for the event. After the festival, these temporary structures are taken down, and "The Farm" returns to being mostly open land.

Other Events

Besides Bonnaroo, Great Stage Park has hosted other exciting events. For example, the Exit 111 Festival was held there in October 2019. This shows how versatile the park is for different types of large gatherings.
