Green Haven's History
Green Haven started as a popular spot for people from Baltimore City to visit for day trips. It was just a short boat ride away from the city.

As more people moved to the suburbs, Green Haven became mostly a place where people lived. Many of the small local shops closed because larger shopping centers opened nearby.
Today, Green Haven has changed quite a bit. It has lost some of its old "summer home" charm. However, it is still the largest single neighborhood within Pasadena. Green Haven is also home to Northeast High, one of Pasadena's two high schools.
