Green Lake Village Hall is an important building in Green Lake, Wisconsin, United States. It was built a long time ago, in 1939. This special building was added to both the State and the National Register of Historic Places in 2004. This means it is recognized for its historical value.

Building History: From Past to Present

The Green Lake Village Hall was designed by a company called W. C. Weeks Inc. It was finished in 1939. The building got help from the WPA. The WPA was a government program during the Great Depression. It helped people find jobs by building public places like this hall.

When it first opened, the building had many uses. The main floor had a gym and a stage. This was a place for sports and performances. Downstairs, in the basement, you could find city offices. There was also a library and even fire departments there.

One cool thing about the gym's roof is how it was built. It uses early laminated wooden arches for support. These arches are strong and show how buildings were made back then.
