Green Spring is a small place in northern Frederick County, Virginia, in the United States of America. It is called an unincorporated community. This means it is a group of homes and businesses that does not have its own local government. Instead, it is part of the larger county.
Exploring Green Spring's Location
Green Spring is found on the southern side of North Mountain. A small water flow called Green Spring Run runs through the area. This run is a tributary, which means it is a smaller stream that flows into a larger one. Green Spring Run eventually joins Back Creek.
The community is easy to find because it sits where two roads meet. These roads are Green Spring Road (also known as VA 671) and Cedar Grove Road (VA 654).
