The Green Emperor is one of the largest dragonflies you might ever see. It was first described by a scientist named Jules Pierre Rambur in 1842. These fascinating creatures are often called "emperors" because of their impressive size and powerful flight.
What Does It Look Like?
This dragonfly truly lives up to its name! The Green Emperor has a mostly green body, which helps it blend in with the plants around its watery home. Where Does It Live?
