Early Life and Education
Greville Spratt went to several well-known schools. He studied at Leighton Park School and Charterhouse School. Later, he attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. This is a famous academy where army officers are trained.
Military Service
After his education, Spratt joined the military. He served with the Coldstream Guards from 1945 to 1946. This is a very old and respected part of the British Army. He then became an officer in the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry.
From 1946 to 1948, he was sent to serve with the Arab Legion. This was the army of the Kingdom of Jordan at that time.
Honourable Artillery Company
