About Gripen Trollhättan BK
The club started in 1936. For many years, from 1936 to 1988, it was known as Gripens BK. Later, its name changed to Gripen Trollhättan BK. The men's bandy team has played in Sweden's top league, called Elitserien, several times. They played in the first division during the 1973–74, 2001–02, 2002–03, and 2004–05 seasons. They made it back to the first division for the 2006–07 season and continued to play there in the 2007–08 season.
