Gujranwala Division (Urdu: دوسوں گوجرانوالہ) was an important area in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. Think of it like a large region that used to help manage different parts of the province. It was once part of the Lahore Division, another big area.

The main city and headquarters for Gujranwala Division was Gujranwala. This division covered a large space of about 17,206 square kilometers (about 6,643 square miles). Many people lived there. In 1981, about 7.5 million people called it home. By 1998, this number had grown to over 11.4 million people!

In the year 2000, the way the government organized these areas changed. Because of these changes, Gujranwala Division, along with other similar divisions, was no longer used as an administrative unit.
