Lahore Division (Urdu: دوسوں لاہور) was a large administrative area, like a big region, in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. It was one of the many divisions that helped manage the country. In the year 2000, the government of Pakistan decided to change how these areas were organized, and so Lahore Division stopped being a division.

Lahore Division has a long history. Before Pakistan became an independent country, this area was part of British India. During that time, Lahore Division was also an important administrative region within the Punjab Province of British India.

In British India, Lahore Division was quite large. It stretched along the right side of the Sutlej River, which is a major river in the region. Its area went from the Himalaya mountains all the way down to a city called Multan.

A very important event happened in 1947. This was the Partition of British India. It meant that British India was divided into two new, independent countries: India and Pakistan. Because of this division, Lahore Division was also split. Some parts of it became part of India, and other parts became part of Pakistan. The city of Lahore itself became a major city in Pakistan.
