Gunnel Lindblom's Acting Career
Gunnel Lindblom was a well-known actress. She worked a lot with the famous Swedish director Ingmar Bergman. In 1965, she played the main role in a TV show called Miss Julie for BBC Television.
Stage Performances
Gunnel also performed on stage. She played a very important role called The Mummy. This was in a play by August Strindberg called The Ghost Sonata. Her performance from 1998 to 2000 was highly praised.
In 2008, she was in a play called Drottningens juvelsmycke. This play was staged at the Dramaten theatre. It was part of the theatre's 100-year celebration.
Directing Work
Besides acting, Gunnel Lindblom also directed plays. In 2009, she directed a play by Jon Fosse. It was called Flicka i gul regnjacka (which means Girl in Yellow Raincoat). This play was shown at the Royal Dramatic Theatre. It opened on October 9.
