This partnership was formed in July 2019 with Hampton Baptist Church, after the Baptist church closed its doors.
History of Hampton Methodist Church
The very first chapel for Methodists in Hampton was built in 1861. This early chapel was known as a Wesleyan chapel and was located on Church Street.
Later, in 1926, a newer chapel was built on Percy Road. The church building you see today was officially opened in 1963. It stands on the west side of Percy Road, between Priory Road and Lindon Road.
