Hans-Jürgen Heise facts for kids
Hans-Jürgen Heise (born July 6, 1930 – died November 13, 2013) was a German author and poet. He wrote many poems and stories during his life.
His Life Story
Hans-Jürgen Heise was born as Hans-Jürgen Scheller in a place called Bublitz. This town was in Pomerania, Germany, which is now Bobolice, Poland. When he was a baby, his family moved to Berlin. But they soon returned to Bublitz. This was because of the bombings in Berlin during World War II.
In 1945, Heise's family had to leave Pomerania. Many Germans had to leave their homes at that time. Heise then started working as a journalist in Berlin. Later, he became a lector, which is like a teacher or lecturer, at the University of Kiel.
Hans-Jürgen Heise passed away in Kiel.
