About Lindstrøm
Hans-Peter Lindstrøm was born in Flekkefjord, Norway, in 1973. He grew up in Stavanger. He is a talented musician who plays many instruments. He is also a DJ and a producer.
Over the years, Lindstrøm has created many EPs (which are like mini-albums), full albums, and remixes. A remix is when a musician takes an existing song and changes it to create a new version. He often works with other artists. For example, he has collaborated with Prins Thomas and singer Christabelle.
Lindstrøm has remixed songs for famous artists like LCD Soundsystem, Roxy Music, and Franz Ferdinand. As a solo artist, he has released several albums. These include It's a Feedelity Affair (2006), Where You Go I Go Too (2008), Six Cups of Rebel (2012), and Smalhans (2012).
Lindstrøm has been nominated for the Spellemannsprisen four times. This award is like the Norwegian Grammys. He has won three times. His first win was for It's a Feedelity Affair in 2006. He won again for Where You Go I Go Too in 2008. In 2010, he won with singer Christabelle for their album Real Life Is No Cool.
In 2012, Lindstrøm released Six Cups of Rebel. This album was special because it was the first time he sang on his own songs. Later that year, he released Smalhans. In 2015, he released the song "Home Tonight" with Grace Hall. This song was ranked highly by Spin Magazine. He also made remixes for other artists, including Anni-Frid Lyngstad. In 2015, he worked with Todd Rundgren and Emil Nicolaisen on an album called Runddans.
In 2016, Lindstrøm released a new song called "Closing Shot." This song was part of his EP Windings, which came out in July 2016.
