Hansamu Yama Pranata (born January 16, 1995) is a professional Indonesian footballer. He plays as a strong defender, usually in the center of the field. Hansamu currently plays for the Liga 1 club Persija Jakarta.

Hansamu's Club Journey

Playing for Barito Putera

Hansamu signed a three-year contract with Barito Putera on October 21, 2014. He made his first appearance on April 4, 2015. His team won that game 2–0 against Persela Lamongan.

On September 10, 2017, Hansamu scored his first goal for Barito Putera. It was in a 2–0 win against Sriwijaya. Later that month, on September 21, 2017, he scored again. This goal helped Barito Putera get a 1–1 draw against Persipura Jayapura. In January 2019, Hansamu decided not to renew his contract. He moved to Mojokerto for family reasons.

Time with Persebaya Surabaya

Hansamu joined Persebaya Surabaya on January 16, 2019, as a free agent. He played his first game for them on February 16, 2019. It was a big 8–0 home win against Liga 3 club Persinga Ngawi. His league debut for Persebaya was on May 16, in a 2–1 loss to Bali United.

On February 29, 2020, Hansamu scored his first goal for Persebaya. It was in a 1–1 draw against Persik Kediri. The football season was later stopped on March 27, 2020, because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The season was eventually cancelled.

Joining Bhayangkara

Hansamu signed a one-year contract with Bhayangkara on May 5, 2021. He made his league debut on August 29, 2021. Bhayangkara won that game 2–1 against Persiraja Banda Aceh.

On October 31, 2021, Hansamu scored his first league goal for Bhayangkara. His goal helped them win 1–0 against Persikabo 1973. On February 20, 2022, he scored again in a 4–0 win over Persikabo 1973. This win moved Bhayangkara to second place in the league. During the 2021–22 season, he played 19 league games and scored 2 goals.

Playing for Persija Jakarta

Hansamu joined Persija Jakarta for the 2022–23 season. He played his first league game for them on July 31, 2022. It was against Persis Solo at the Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium.

On January 15, 2023, he scored his first goal for Persija Jakarta with a header. His goal helped them win 3–2 against Bali United. He was also chosen as the best player of that match. On February 22, Hansamu scored the winning goal in injury time. This helped Persija win 2–1 against PS Barito Putera. He scored another winning goal in injury time on April 10. This time, it was in a 1–0 away win against Dewa United.

International Football Career

Hansamu first played for the Indonesia U-23 team on February 10, 2015. This was in a friendly game against Syria U-23.

He made his debut for the senior Indonesia national team on December 3, 2016. This was during the 2016 AFF Championship against Vietnam. He scored the first goal with a header in the seventh minute. Indonesia eventually won 2–1. On December 14, 2016, he scored the winning goal against Thailand. Indonesia won that game 2–1 as well. Hansamu was also part of the team for the 2022 AFF Championship.
