Happy Shopper is a well-known British brand. It sells many different everyday items and food products. These products are sold in smaller, local shops. The brand also supplies larger amounts of food and goods to businesses.

Happy Shopper was first owned by a company called Nurdin and Peacock. This company was a "cash and carry" business. This means other shops could buy goods from them in large amounts. Then, in November 1996, a bigger company called Booker Group bought Nurdin and Peacock.

What is Happy Shopper?

For many years, from 1971 to 1998, the name Happy Shopper was also used for a chain of local shops. These shops were part of a "franchise." This means many small shops used the same brand name and business ideas.

Over time, most of these Happy Shopper stores changed their name. They "rebranded" to Premier Stores. This is another brand that is also owned by the Booker Group.

Where Can You Find Happy Shopper Products?

Even though most Happy Shopper stores changed their names, you can still find some today. They are mostly in places like the East Midlands (for example, Nottingham and Derby) and the South East of England. You might see them in local neighborhoods.

Happy Shopper products are sold in many different places. These include small local shops, places that sell alcohol (called "off licences"), and discount stores. Other "cash and carry" companies also sell Happy Shopper items.

The products include many things you might buy for your home. You can find groceries, frozen foods, fizzy drinks, and sweets. Happy Shopper items are part of Premier's "own brand" range. This means they are special products made for those stores.

The first logo for Happy Shopper was a friendly smiling face. It had blonde hair. This happy face was used on all their products and packaging for many years.

In the year 2000, the brand decided to update its look. They changed the logo and packaging. The smiling face was removed from the products. This change was part of a new design plan.
