Harper, Ross County, Ohio facts for kids
Harper is a small place in Ross County, in the U.S. state of Ohio. It's known as an "unincorporated community." This means it's a group of homes and businesses that doesn't have its own official local government, like a city or town would.
History of Harper
Harper used to be called Harpers Station. There was once a train station here, also named Harpers Station, which was part of the Marietta and Cincinnati Railroad. A post office opened in Harpers Station in 1867. It served the community for many years before closing in 1927.
