After high school, Harriet continued her studies. She earned a diploma in Fine Arts. This was from the Richmond Professional Institute. It was part of the College of William and Mary. She also studied at the famous Art Students League. There, she learned from a well-known artist named Harry Sternberg.

Teaching and Artistic Career

Harriet Bogart loved to teach art. She taught at St. Christophers School in Richmond, Virginia. She also taught at the Richmond Professional Institute.

Harriet was a lifelong member of the Art Students League. She even received an honorable mention. This was in their Annual National Scholarship competition. It showed her great talent.

Her artwork was displayed in many places. You could find it in the North Carolina Museum of Art. Her paintings were also in private collections. She took part in many art shows.
