Harrogate Baptist Church is a special building located on Victoria Avenue in Harrogate. It's so important that it's listed as a Grade II building. This means it has historical or architectural value and is protected.
The Church's History
Harrogate Baptist Church first opened its doors in 1883. A talented person named William Peachey was the architect who designed this beautiful church.
About the Organ
The church has a large pipe organ. It was first built in 1884 by a company called William Hill. Later, in 1898, another company named James Jepson Binns rebuilt and improved the organ. This makes the organ quite old and an interesting part of the church's history.
