Hatfield is a small place in Pike County, Kentucky, USA. It's called an unincorporated community. This means it's a group of homes and businesses that isn't officially a town or city with its own local government.
Hatfield's History
Hatfield got its name from James F. Hatfield. He was the first postmaster there. A post office opened in the community in 1903. It helped people send and receive mail.
However, the post office did not stay open forever. It closed its doors in 1925. Even without a post office, Hatfield remains a community in Kentucky.
